My husband was a Physical Education teacher and then lecturer at a University in Queensland Australia for most of his life. He always exercised, ate simply and exercised his brain by loving to do crosswords etc. In his early 20’s he was a boxer for Australia in the Commonwealth Games in Vancouver in 1954. He was very healthy and died at 9o years old. The previous 11 years he had suffered with Alz. He seemed to do that is suggested to ward Alz off but still got it. I still reckon if you are going to get it…you are! I love hearing about research however and I think one day we will understand it more. Thank you for your knowledge!
